RushFX was a personal project started in 2014 and put on steroids in 2017. Every creative knows there are free resources for making and learning available online; the problem is finding them. RushFX is a large scale archive of ‘All the world’s free, creative resources in one place.’
The project has allowed me manipulate WordPress in much more advanced ways. It allowed me to tackle posting and manipulating database entries for thousands of posts and their accompanying media.

Many, Many Posts
The project grew over time and eventually a solution was required to insert and edit mass amounts of WordPress blog entries at once. A solution was created to import posts via CSV files which could be edited in something like Microsoft Excel or similar.

Process
Post Reporting
With the project growing and so many posts going live, the site needed a way to manage any sources which could go offline. Also if the content creator would prefer not to have their content shared on RushFX, they needed a quick and easy way to report this also.
Process
Fully Responsive
RushFX was always intended to be a companion based site. Many of the resources but particularly the tutorials shared benefit from the user having a second screen. With this use-case in mind, the site receives alot of traffic from mobile devices so a well tested fully responsive site was needed.
